COVID-19 RESPONSE

San Mateo County has mandated that gyms are only allowed to teach outdoors until further notice.
So, we’re going outside!
Bring your yoga mat. We will have puzzle mats available for each student for groundwork.

We are very excited to be able to welcome you back to our physical location for classes! We will continue offering online classes for our students who are not able to join us in person yet.
As of now, there will be no sparring or partner drills but we remain committed to giving you a good workout and helping you continue to practice technique. In order to comply with San Mateo County policies and keep everyone healthy and safe, we have also adopted some new procedures.
Everyone must wear a mask at all times, including during class.
All students will line up (6 ft apart) at the door 5 minutes prior to class. Please wait in your car if you arrive earlier.
Temperatures will be taken at the door. If you have a temperature of 100 or above, we cannot allow you to take class.
All students must remove their shoes when they enter the gym. (If you wear shoes in class, please keep that pair solely for the gym and do not wear them outside.)
We are cleaning the floors and bathrooms between every class.
There will be no loaner equipment such as gloves, masks, or jackets. If you are taking the MMA Fitness class, please bring a yoga mat. We can still loan weapons, weights, and pads as those items can be cleaned between classes.
There are now towel dispensers and cleaning solution near both mats. All students will use these to clean off any equipment or bags they will use for that class, both before and after each session.
We currently have an adjusted schedule to accommodate the cleaning that needs to be done between each class. The temporary schedule is also to ensure we can continue to provide online instruction for our students that are unable to join us at the school during this time.

Hello everyone,
As you’ve probably heard, San Mateo County has mandated that gyms are only allowed to teach outdoors until further notice. Optimistically, that could be for 3 days or it could be quite longer.
So, we’re going outside!
We’re heading to Home Depot as soon as we email this to purchase a hand truck that will allow us to move the BOBS in and out of the parking lot for class.
Bring your yoga mat. We will have puzzle mats available for each student for groundwork.
If we get more students than we have BOBS available, we will split the class and take turns on the equipment.
In order to accommodate the county’s requirements, we’ve had to adjust the schedule which is posted below.
A few things to note:
1. Monday and Friday’s Striking and Fitness class will be combined and taught by Coach Paul.
2. The Fitness class will continue to be available online, taught separately from the in-person class.
3. Wednesday’s Fitness class and the Polearms class will both be held outside as there is plenty of room.
4. Saturday’s MMA Fitness class will be online only.
If you have a private lesson scheduled with Coach Paul, it will be held outside as well.
We hope this schedule will be for just a few days. As teaching outside is new to us, we thank you in advance for your patience as we figure things out.
Warmest regards,
Paul & Melissa Tosetti
